2025 National Envirothon

The 2025 National Envirothon was held in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, bringing together 51 teams from across the United States and other countries. Mississippi proudly placed 26th in the competition.

Envirothon is known for its intense training and rigorous competition, but it’s also a chance for students to build friendships with peers from other states and countries. This year’s event even included a fun day exploring the breathtaking scenery of Banff, Canada.

Looking ahead, Mississippi will have the honor of hosting the 2026 National Envirothon Competition. Teachers interested in forming a team of five high school students are encouraged to contact their local Mississippi Soil and Water Conservation District for more information.
